Hi,

I'm from Hong Kong and I just wanna say how much I love your show. Locals don't get sarcasm much nor do they have that much of a sense of humor, so it's great to hear u guys every moment I can.

Oh and, I would SO rather have a surprise gift from my man! I don't wanna seem like I'm demanding that he give me a certain thing or else....

Dang I wish I knew someone famous...does it count that I was caught on the news years ago for buying fireworks in Indiana? The reporter was a lady from one of our local channels. I bought freakin sparkles and she acted like I bought grenades. I did some research on the turtle man. He's on animal planet and lost his front teeth from a freak chainsaw accident. My familys from Kentucky so I crack up when I see him... Good show. I was listening this morning and was cracking up because I remember those days at R-Way in Portage! That song was the best "All-Skate" song! Great Job Melissa! To get back to your guy and gal roles.
The first 5 years we both worked and took turns at cooking and cleaning.
We agreed that we would have traditional marriage roles the first 30 years and when the last child went off to college we would reverse rolls. I got married at 18 and went back to college when our children were in school and studied while they were at school or sleeping. I started up small companies to pay for college as I went....cleaning, arts and crafts, etc. My husband semi retired, has a morning job and golfs when he can. He still does the carpentry, makes things, remodels and sometimes I help. I work at a job I enjoy and travel. He is not a big traveler so I get my fix through work. He cooks. It is good.

Just wanted to say love love your show! Just wanted to add a tip for the Oreo balls, only half a package of cream cheese should be used so there will be no need to put in freezer. Putting them in freezer causes moisture therefore the chocolate does not adhere nor soak into the balls. Also they should not be larger than a 25cent gumball. I make them all the time and my friends luv them. The only time I regrigerate them is if I use dark chocolate becuase it is softer and needs to be cooled to harden.
Off topic I just wanted to add that every year I divide half the money I am going to spend on christmas gifts for my nieces and nephews and make a donation to St. Judes. I let the kids know, they are in total agreement and are happy to share with those in need. I think this year I will make that donation to childrens memorial hospital since it is closer to home. Oh and all the change I am collecting will also be donated. Thank you so much for backing such a worthy cause.

I can't call in because I'm at work. My son was 11 pounds 4 ounces. The doctors had no idea he would be that big. Being my second, the labor went much faster. I had NO drugs! Of course, he's my youngest! He is now 21 and 6 foot 4 inches!

Hey Eric and Kathy!

So I was listening to your show this morning and heard you talking about how girls should tell their man they're 'hot' more often. Well after learning this, I couldn't wait to try it out on my boyfriend. He's a golfer and spent a majority of today on the course. Later on when I picked him up, I noticed he was still in his golf clothes and hadn't showered yet. I didn't want it to come off as a joke, so I waited a little. After getting some ice-cream I found the perfect opportunity to say it... I looked into his eyes and said, "Wow! Why do you look so hot tonight?" as I licked some ice-cream off my spoon. His reaction was priceless! He was taken aback and said, "Wait, am I sweating or something?" I explained that I meant he looked very attractive. A smile came across his face and he looked away for a second... (probably wondering why the heck I thought he looked "hot" when he hadn't even taken a shower)... and with a completely different and more confident tone of voice said, "Thanks!" Haha I could tell it made his night and I bet he's still thinking about it! Haha thanks for the tip !

We had a long distrance relationship situation. He lived in Long Island, NY, I in Chicago. We were introduced via the phone. I mentally figured I would breakup with him by the end of the week. But, two days into our long distance relationship ... he proposed. I hesitated but found we had a great deal of similarities. I accepted. We'll be soon be celebrating our 17th anniversary. Yes, he left everything in NY and we married 10 days after he proposed.

So recently...I had a friend who went through a car wash, the kind where you stay inside your car. When she got to the part where the long thin pieces of fabric flop back and forth, her car got stuck. Long story short, she decided not to get out of her car and get wet, but honk the horn. Nothing happened. After 10 minutes, she decided to call her husband and have him find the number to the carwash to let them know she was stuck. He called them and she was freed! .......So has anyone ever been stuck in an awkward and embarrassing situation?

I wasn;t attractive to this guy, but I dated him a few times. He was super nice and sincere. He was cute, but definitely not my type. After 5 dates, I decided to go for it and keep dating. A year later, we got married. I am SO happy to have him in my life. He is the perfect guy! He's even cuter than ever! So, looks can be decieving! The person who starts slamming down beers or cocktails the second beverage service starts, the one who talks loudly about everyone around him, and blocks your exit as he stumbles off the plane. I sat next to this guy a few days ago on our way to New Orleans. Good times.
